Grant Guidelines About the FoundationRooted in Hudson since 1946
The William H. Phipps Foundation was established by Helen C. and Stephen C. Phipps of Hudson, Wisconsin. Stephen was a Hudson resident, World War I veteran, banker, and businessman. He and Helen were active in the community and personally supported many local charities.
The Foundation began with a gift of 35 shares of the Victoria Lumber Company, and it has supported the Hudson area ever since.
The William H. Phipps Foundation is a private foundation, independent of the Phipps Center for the Arts.
